Custom Hangers for Environmental Monitoring Equipment

We have lab equipment monitors that ended up losing most of their hangers.

I made a custom rebar bender jig to bend the loops out then another for shaping the hooks.

Pieces of C-channel were cut to size and holes were drilled in them to match the original hanger.

All of the custom bent rebar were welded to the C-channels to replicate the other hangers that were missing.

These were mass produced on a small scale.

A total of ten were produced. Then they were all sprayed with primer and gray paint to prevent rusting.
